About Me

With a full-time job, it’s hard for me to actually find the time for making healthy, tasty, home-cooked meals. Combine that with the curse of a bottomless pit of an appetite, and things start to get tricky when I’m trying to squeeze 3 hours of Kung Fu into my evenings. This blog is a documentation of what goes on in my never-ending quest to curb my appetite while training.

A little about my martial arts training history:

I’ve been doing martial arts for about as long as I can remember (well, 3rd grade. My memory’s not exactly stellar). I studied Jiu Jitsu for a little over 9 years, BJJ and Aikido on and off for 2 years, and Capoeira for a little over 2 years. I started training Kung Fu at Wu Dao Kung Fu and Tai Chi when I moved to the Boston area about 2 years ago, and have been focusing my training on the Shaolin style.
